Customer Review:
...Giger's artwork, which I am in full defense of, explores sex as an art form. He has perfectly depicted man's fear of mutilation and technology as a means towards disfiguration. Giger illustrates elaborate scenes of perpetual erotica, forever reminding humanity of it's illogical fear of human... more info

Customer Review:
I have been a fan of H.R. Giger dating back to when his biomech character debuted in the 1979 Sigourney Weaver movie "Alien." I started buying the annual calendar in 1996 and have yet to be disappointed. His art is wonderfully illustrated on 12.5" x 12.5" glossy paper which can then be kept almost... more info

Customer Review:
This was the first book of his that I bought. It is very well done like all the rest. It is a good book to get your "feet wet" and to decide if you want to go any further into his work. I liked it very much, and recommend it as an introduction.

Customer Review:
This book is a very unique book in it's content in regard to Giger's work. It focuses deeply on Giger's designs and art work for all the film projects he has been involved so far. It also gives the viewer a good and rather comprehensive view from the early stages of the designs to the final result.

Customer Review:
Mr. Giger, I have experienced your biomechanical drawings and such from your book. The theme "Tracing Thoughts" came to me from your drawing of No. 625 Pump Excursion, when suicide was an option. Then I gotten control of myself by expressing my thoughts, feelings, and for free lance of my own... more info

Customer Review:
This Tarot is not for the faint of heart. This has the potential, if used honestly, to reveal some ugly truths about your unconscious motivations. The images are incredible, and well chosen for the cards. The cards themselves are huge (and need to be to do the images justice). They convey a... more info

This book is an excellent brief introduction to the life and art of H.R. Giger. It features plates of some of his most well-known works, as well as examples of his sketches, pen and inks, and other media. For someone who has taken an interest in Giger, but is not ready to invest in his larger, more... more info

Customer Review:
This Japanese publication collects several artists in the erotomechanical genre as typified by the works of H.R. Giger. I came across this volume in my perpetual quest for works of Zdislaw Beksinski. Included in this book is a print of his I had previuosly seen in an out-of-print French publication... more info
